The 2011 Rock Creek yearbook recently received the All-Kansas award in the Kansas Scholastic Press Association’s  annual critique contest. The judges critiqued the yearbook on five different areas — concept, design, coverage, writing and photography. The top award is given to the schools that receive top ratings in three of the five areas.

Yearbook adviser Jessica Augustine-Stegman said, “I do think that this year’s yearbook staff can achieve the same award, by doing the same things and also making improvements.”
